Jose María Alfin is a partner at Cases & Lacambra. He leads the Tax practice in the Principality of Andorra.

He started his career in the Aequitas Project of the European Union, representing the Commercial & Land Registrars of Spain in relation with the creation of a harmonized legal framework for the standardization and cross border movements of companies in the European Union as from the approval of the Directive of European Corporation.

He was Director of Legal , Tax , Compliance and Internal Audit at General Motors RFC for Spain. Likewise, he was a member of its Spanish and European Executive Committee. He has also worked for the Andorra international banking group Andbank, as Chief Legal Officer and Director of Estate and Wealth Planning Services.

Jose Maria Alfin is specialized in local and international tax, wealth and estate planning, advising either individuals or companies. Jose María has a long experience in banking and financial matters having provided his advice to banks , investment companies or private clients. He lectures on banking, compliance, financial and tax matters in Professional Associations and Universities.

He is the correspondent for Andorra for the international tax on line data base IBFD (International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation) taking care of tax, social security and investment matters.
