A State Attorney on leave of absence, Ernesto Benito Sancho has a professional career spanning more than twenty-five years in the fields of litigation and arbitration. Throughout his career, he has served as a partner and head of Litigation and Arbitration departments at top-tier law firms, leading particularly complex matters in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

Over the course of his career, he has also acted as arbitrator in numerous arbitration proceedings before leading national and international arbitration institutions, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, energy and telecommunications, as well as in disputes arising from M&A transactions and public procurement.

He has combined his professional practice with extensive teaching and sustained academic activity. His career has been repeatedly recognised by the leading international legal directories.
