With the slogan “Innovation for sustainable development – Objective 2030. Ibero-America facing the challenge of the coronavirus” the XXVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government will be held in Andorra. This event was due to be held last year, but was postponed due to the COVID – 19 pandemic.
Cases&Lacambra will participate in the development and execution of one of the main activities around of the Summit, the XIII Business Meeting, which will be held for the first time in Andorra. This meeting is an opportunity to highlight the fundamental role of the Firm as one of the most important law firms in the Principality of Andorra.
In addition to the presence of the Firm´s partners, Pablo Echenique, partner of the Corporate & M&A practice group, will participate as a speaker with other personalities of the energy sector, including the current Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability of Andorra or the president of Iberdrola Spain in a panel in which they will analyze and exchange views on energy and ecological transition in Ibero-America.
The activity program of the Ibero-American Summit will start with the XIII Business Meeting, organized by the Ibero-American General Secretary-SEGIB, the Ibero-American Business Council-CEIB and the Andorran Business Confederation-CEA, and is focused on innovation in the health, social, economic, legal and environmental aspects of the Ibero-American community.
In a year marked by the global crisis caused by the pandemic, this new edition will be celebrated in a hybrid format, both face-to-face and virtual, observing all preventive measures required by the health situation, as more than 300 economic personalities from Andorra, Spain and Latin America will share concerns and challenges for the coming months.
The Summit will bring together the 22 Heads of State and Government of Ibero-America who will discuss concrete recovery measures in the economic, social and environmental fields post COVID – 19.
