Enric Ripoll Gonzalez is Managing Partner at Cases & Lacambra in the Miami office. His practice focuses on Sports Law.
With over twenty years of experience, Enric is a seasoned international lawyer specializing in contract negotiation, litigation, and arbitration in the sports and entertainment sectors. He is licensed to practice law in both Spain and Florida (USA), which allows him to provide cross-border legal solutions backed by a strong track record in international disputes.
His work ranges from advising athletes, clubs, and federations on legal strategy and regulatory compliance, to representing them before top-tier bodies such as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), FIFA, ITF, UEFA, World Sailing, WADA, and other major international sports organizations. He has handled a wide variety of matters, including employment disputes, image rights, disciplinary proceedings, and regulatory issues across multiple jurisdictions. In the entertainment sector, his expertise goes from advising artists in image rights contracts, to litigation over copyright infringement.
Enric currently holds various judicial and integrity-related roles, including Chair of the Integrity Board at the International Table Tennis Federation, arbitrator with the European Arbitration Association, and member of the arbitration panels of the Badminton World Federation and the International Canoe Federation. His commitment to fairness in sport is reflected in his ongoing pro bono representation of athletes before CAS.
In addition to his legal practice, Enric serves as a lecturer in sports law. He teaches at Universidad Europea in Madrid, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, the Global Institute of Sport (GIS), LaLiga Business School, and the Cruyff Institute. In 2024, he joined the faculty at the University of Miami School of Law as an adjunct professor for the International Soccer Law course, and collaborates with FIFA in several of its executive education programs. He is also a regular speaker at industry conferences such as Soccerex, World Football Summit, LawInSport, SportsBiz, and Confut.
