On 31 May, the Firm’s Financial Services team organized the business breakfast on market trends in the Andorran financial system: present and future.
During the event, Laura Nieto, partner of the Financial Services team, Marc Ambrós, partner of Corporate and M&A team and Miguel Cases, partner of the Financial Services team and executive chairman of the Firm, highlighted the importance of financial services in the Principality of Andorra and its regulatory flexibility with the emergence of new players and forms of intervention in the current market.
The event was held with the collaboration of Álvaro García Navarro, legal advisor on banking reform and relations with the European Union of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Andorra in the round table.
During the different interventions, it was possible to analyze the general panorama of the provision of financial and investment services in Andorra, its grey areas, and the framing of disruptive technologies in the current regulatory paradigm.
The breakfast was attended by around 50 guests from the main financial companies and institutions in the country.
