Executive Managing Partner Miguel Cases moderates one of the event’s round tables.
With the attendance of more than 40 key attendees from the international arbitration sector, ICC Spain, together with Écija, held a conference on arbitration and asset recovery in Madrid. The event, which took place on June 17, was attended by Miguel Cases, executive partner and CEO of Cases & Lacambra, who moderated one of the morning round tables.
Specifically, the Firm’s partner was joined by David Mizrachi, partner at MDU Legal (Panama), Ben Herzberg, partner at Bodenheimer (Berlin) and Fabio Nuñez del Prado, partner at Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas (Lima). During this roundtable, the experts discussed the enforcement strategy from the beginning of the arbitration.
The conference was held at Ecija Abogados and was attended by different professionals from the sector representing different jurisdictions.
Topics such as asset recovery, enforcement of awards and third-party financing were discussed, ending with a question-and-answer session in which both attendees and speakers were able to participate.
