The specialized newspaper Expansión Jurídico reports in its edition of Tuesday February 4th on cartels and the possibility of avoiding huge fines if companies, even if they are part of the cartel, bring it to the attention of the competent authorities.
The report includes the statements of the partner of the Firm Jose Piñeiro who analyses how the company that denounces this illegal practice is free from the fine but “not from the claims for compensation of those affected by the cartel”.
Apart from dealing with this important saving possibility, the report also analyses some important cartel cases in Spain.
