The Financial Services practice group of Cases & Lacambra has advised Sociedad de Gestión de Activos Procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria (Sareb) on the sale of a €3.000 million portfolio of unsecured non-performing loans granted to SMEs, the largest portfolio sold by Sareb to date.
The transaction was closed this week and it involves the largest portfolio sold in Sareb’s history. Cases & Lacambra has acted as its legal advisor to the transaction, while EY acted as financial advisor.
The Cases & Lacambra team was led by Toni Barios, partner of the Financial Services practice group and associate María Arroyos.
